Use of climate-smart agriculture practices and smallholder farmer market participation in Central Malawi

In the past few decades, climate-smart agriculture (CSA) has been promoted to improve food security and raise incomes as a strategy for sustainable agricultural development. The adoption rates among smallholder farmers, particularly in Africa, remain low have varied different contexts. This study investigated market participation spillover effects from of CSA practices central Malawi using control function approach address any endogeneity relationship. hypothesis that extent use 10 years can lead production surpluses enable farmers participate markets thereby increase was tested.
